Able to Obtain Bonus Item after Laung - Guild Wars Forums

Greetings,

First time poster and hopefully a long time player and forum ***** ^_^

I am curious. I found that the pre-order boxes still exist and I was wondering if it was still possible to redeem these items bast retail and beta?

Also, I need one more for my wife, any place I can obtain these bonuses?

Yes, if you enter a pre-order key, it'll give you the bonus item. Further more, you can have multiple pre-order keys, so if you can find all the different packages, you could have lots of special items at startup that you can't salvage or sell

On the main page after you log in there is a button labeled "Manage Accounts". That is where you can add the preorder keys to your account. After you add the key, if the item doesn't show up in your character's inventory, just enter the command /preorder while standing in any town or outpost and it will show up.

Finding them is going to get harder as time passes, because they are no longer being produced. And a lot of stores simply pulled them from the shelves and threw them away when the game was released.

I have all except the Chimeric Prism, I have spares of the other 5 that at this point I will only trade for the Prism. Unused preorder item keys can be traded, but once the key is entered into an account the item is customized and after that can't be traded.
